ASIC Design Engineer
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
• 2 years of experience with digital design .
• 6+ months of experience with architecture and design tools.
• 6+ months of experience with scripting tools and programming languages.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design and implement digital logic using RTL (Verilog/SystemVerilog or VHDL)
- Develop micro-architectures based on system-level requirements
- Perform functional simulation and debug using industry-standard tools
- Collaborate with verification engineers to define test plans and support testbench development
- Work with physical design teams to ensure timing closure and DFT integration
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of design methodologies
- Document design specifications, implementation details, and verification results and enable architecture and design of a specific part of a block/SoC or IC Package.
Level of Responsibility:
• Works under supervision.
• Decision-making affects direct area of work and/or work group.
• Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey basic, routine factual information.
• Tasks require multiple steps which can be performed in various orders; some planning, problem-solving, and prioritization must occur to complete the tasks effectively.
