Corporate QMS Governance & Strategy Senior Manager
Corporate QMS Governance & Strategy Senior Manager
Mission
Lead the governance and continuous improvement of the QMS backbone, integrating the Enterprise Management System (EMS) framework, business process management (BPM) practices, documented information governance, and organization performance management. Ensure that processes, documentation, tools, and KPIs form a coherent, efficient, and strategy?aligned system deployed across the company.
Key Accountabilities
- Owner of the EMS framework and BPM methodology, in partnership with process owners and digital teams.
- Ensure end?to?end coherence between process design, documentation, tools, and KPIs.
- Process owner of the Documented Information process, including governance, communities, and deployment.
- Process owner of the Performance Management process at company level.
- Guarantee a lean, strategy?aligned performance management process executed on time and consistently connected with all derived processes (including the “Top Page”).
- Drive and animate the key communities related to EMS, documentation, and performance (process owners, document controllers, KPI owners), ensuring adherence to company processes and standards.
- Ensure coherence between performance management and enterprise risk management through structured collaboration with the ERM team.
Main Responsibilities
EMS & Process Governance
- Define, maintain, and improve the EMS framework and business process architecture of the company.
- Establish and deploy BPM methods and standards for process modeling, reengineering, and digitalization.
- Drive and support the community of process owners and process architects to:
- Apply EMS/BPM standards and methods.
- Document and maintain processes in line with company guidelines.
- Support process owners in:
- Designing and updating their processes in line with EMS standards.
- Leveraging digital tools and workflows to improve efficiency and robustness.
- Lead the EMS & Process Governance / Performance Manager and analyst team; steer the EMS transformation program content.
Documented Information Governance
- Define, maintain, and improve the documented information process, including policies, procedures, classification rules, templates, and workflows.
- Lead, drive, and animate the company?wide community of Document Controllers, ensuring:
- Alignment to company documentation processes and rules.
- Regular communication, training, and support.
- Sharing of best practices and continuous improvement.
- Ensure full adherence to company rules regarding:
- Document generation, review, and approval.
- Document classification, and retention.
- Versioning, obsolescence, and archiving.
- Monitor and prevent unjustified document proliferation, promoting simplification and elimination of redundant or obsolete documents.
- Interact closely with the tool ownership organization (IT / Digital / EMS) to:
- Align documentation tools and functionalities with business needs and process requirements.
- Ensure tools effectively support governance rules, classification, workflows, and performance.
- Perform regular process reviews on documented information (quality, consistency, usage) and drive corrective and improvement actions.
Performance Management
- Define, measure, monitor, and improve the Performance Management process:
- Ensure the process is lean, efficient, and aligned with company strategy.
- Design and maintain a coherent process calendar, ensuring on?time execution of all steps.
- Ensure full coherence between the Performance Management process and all derived processes, including:Company “Top Page” and related performance views.
- Drive and support the community of Performance Management process .
- Collaborate closely with the ERM team toensure full alignment of performance vs. risk at management level.
- Coordinate the deployment of KPIs:
- Ensure proper documentation, ownership, and review routines for KPIs.
- Consolidate KPI results at company level, providing:
- Integrated dashboards and analysis.
- Clear explanation and communication of results, trends, and key messages to management and relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure that Performance Management outputs are consistently used as inputs for management reviews, improvement plans, and QMS updates
Leadership & Interfaces
- Collaborate closely with:
- QMS Standards & Certification to ensure that EMS, documentation, and performance practices support ISO/IATF and other standards.
- Audit Governance to ensure audit readiness and effective response to systemic findings.
- Corporate and local organizations (Quality, Operations, HR, IT/Digital) for deployment, training, and change management.
Required Competencies & Experience
- 10+ years experience in QMS, business process management, documentation governance, performance management, or equivalent roles.
- Solid knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949
- Proven experience in:
- Leading cross?functional transformation programs, including digitalization and process reengineering.
- Documentation governance and communities (document controllers, local quality).
- Performance management and KPIs: frameworks, dashboards, review cycles, and strategic alignment.
- Managing managers or senior experts in a transversal, multi?site organization.
Soft Skills
- Strong strategic and system thinking, able to connect strategy, processes, documentation, tools, and KPIs.
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills at different levels of the organization.
- Proven change leadership, capable of driving adoption of common standards and tools in a complex environment.
- High communication, community animation, and facilitation capabilities, including in steering committees, workshops, and training sessions.
- Strong problem?solving, prioritization, and decision?making skills.
- Team?oriented, collaborative, comfortable in multicultural and global contexts.
- Resilient, structured, and result?oriented, with a strong focus on governance, simplification, and continuous improvement
