Automation Engineer FLS
Key Responsibilities
- Provide real-time support for manufacturing and automation systems
- Troubleshoot, document, and track system issues to resolution
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and system enhancements
- Assist in training operators and technicians on control systems
- Manage and execute change controls
- Perform and document preventative maintenance activities
- Ensure compliance with GxP standards
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or similar
- 2–5 years’ experience with automated control systems (ideally in pharma, life sciences, or medical devices)
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with PLC/SCADA/HMI systems (e.g. Siemens, Wonderware, etc.)
- Exposure to industrial networks and data systems (e.g. OSIsoft PI)
- Experience with packaging technologies (vision systems, barcode/serialization) is a plus
Knowledge of GAMP, ISA-95, and 21 CFR Part 11 preferred
