Senior Automation Engineer — Industrial Automation & Building Automation
? Senior Automation Engineer (Building Automation / Energy) | Sweden | Contract
I’m currently hiring for an experienced Senior Automation Engineer to join a major project environment focused on building automation and advanced energy systems.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work on large-scale, technically complex projects, collaborating across multiple disciplines in an international setting.
? What you’ll be doing
- Delivering technical analysis, concept & detailed design
- Working across building automation systems (BMS) and auxiliary systems
- Coordinating with Civil, MEP & Automation teams
- Reviewing and validating technical documentation and supplier designs
- Acting as a technical advisor across project and site teams
- Supporting tenders, risk analysis, and technical decision-making
? What we’re looking for
- Strong experience in building / construction automation
- Background in complex, multidisciplinary projects
- Solid knowledge of automation systems and standards
- Ability to work independently and make technical decisions
- Fluent English
? Nice to have
- Experience in energy or infrastructure projects
- Previous work in international environments
- Swedish language skills (beneficial, not essential)
? Sweden (on-site role, high presence required)
? Fast interview process
