General Manager, European Region
General Manager, European Region
Work Location: European Region (based in Munich, Germany)
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee the overall business operation and sales management of the company in core European markets including Germany, Italy and Turkey. Formulate regional sales strategies and deliver assigned sales targets.
- Tap potential demands of existing key customers and consolidate long-term cooperative relationships. Develop new clients and industry customers in the European region to expand regional market share and brand influence.
- Manage and optimize full-cycle customer relationships based on long-term development goals, build a stable customer system and ensure sustainable regional business development.
- Conduct European market research, collect and analyze industry demands and competitor information, judge market trends accurately, and timely feedback market opportunities and risks to the domestic headquarters to support strategic decision-making.
- Recruit, manage, train and assess the local European sales team, guide daily business work, supervise target implementation, and build a high-performance local sales team.
- Coordinate business docking between overseas branches and domestic headquarters, ensure smooth communication on orders, technology and after-sales services, and realize efficient linkage of global business.
- Analyze industry development trends, formulate medium and long-term regional market expansion plans, solve operational problems, and enhance regional market competitiveness.
- Comply with the unified management and work arrangements of the company, and complete other assigned tasks.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor degree or above, major in Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, International Trade or related fields is preferred.
- Industry Know-how: Proven experience in off-highway construction machinery, rubber vulcanization engineering, or industrial equipment supporting industries.
- Market Footprint: Familiar with the business landscape and client networks in Germany, Italy, Turkey, and other key European markets; well-established local customer relationships with a strong background in strategic key-account management.
- Leadership & Skills: Demonstrated success in market entry from 0-to-1; strong analytical, sales planning, and negotiation capabilities; prior experience leading international sales teams and coordinating cross-border business operations is preferred.
- Language Requirement: Mandarin speaking is a must, as the role requires frequent communication and coordination with the company’s headquarters in China. English fluency is also required; German, Italian, or Turkish language skills would be a strong plus.
